This particular desk came from the estate of Animator Jack Kerns. These original Kem Weber desks are an exceptionally rare part of Disney animation history. This desk includes a special shelving unit on top for holding drawings and paper as well as special compartmentalized drawers. Different artists at the studio had different needs, and in designing the desks for the new studio, Weber made sure to include features that would accommodate everyone.
